NEWS – AIA LD participated in the seminar for the 15th anniversary of the "150 Chinese urban planners in France Program”

OnJune 21st, invited by the French Embassy, AIA Life Designers participated inthe 15th Anniversary Seminar of the "150 Chinese urban planners in FranceProgram" organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources of the People'sRepublic of China and the French Embassy in Beijing. The seminar aimed tofurther deepen the cooperation between China and France in the field ofterritorial spatial planning. Mr. Zhuang Shaoqin, Vice Minister of Ministry ofNatural Resources, and Mr. Bertrand Lortholary, Ambassador of France to China, attended the seminar and delivered speeches, while Mr. Wu Haiyang, Chief Planner of Ministry of Natural Resources, presided over the meeting.

Yang Hai, General Manager of AIA LD China, and Huang Xin, Managing Director, attended the seminar and engaged in discussions with the urban planners of this program. Yang Hai shared AIA LD's research on "Toward Healthy Cities" and its practices.

According to the bilateral cooperation agreement between China and France on urban  sustainable development, the "150 Chinese urban planners in France Program" was formally launched in 2009, so far 87 Chinese planners have traveled to France for further studies, and a new batch of 8 experts will set off for France later this year.
